Exciting opportunity to get involved!

This year Steve Jones and a few others are planning a dramatised Passion Play on the morning of Good Friday Friday 19th April 2019 as part of the established ‘Walk of Witness’ that annually takes place up Pride Hill, Shrewsbury. It will start in the Quarry with Christ’s betrayal and move to Mardol Head with Peter’s betrayal and then into The Square with Pilate’s washing of hands and then the Presentation of the Last Supper. We have also discovered links to the 16th and 17th century ‘passion plays’ that......

New Autumn 2018 Termcards

Alongside “Trinity Life”, our new monthly update, the Autumn 2018 termcards are also available. They’ve got details about what’s going on in the Sunday life of the parish, and news about our different sermon series coming up over the next few months. We’re looking at different themes, including a few weeks looking at “Heaven”, and whether there’s more to heaven that clouds, harps and angels. We’re really looking forward to it. You’ll also find contact details for the church office, the Trinity Centre, and other people involved in the life of......

Trinity Churches Communication Survey 2018

Communication – it’s something we do everyday. Whether catching up with a friend over a drink, gathering round the kitchen table as a family or to people we meet out and about – we talk. As a church we communicate different things and in different ways. Trinity Churches last conducted a Communication Survey in 2010 so we thought it was time for another one! We would love for you to help us by filling this survey out as honestly as you can. All the answers will be anonymous. There......

God's amazing family - sharing the peace?

This last Sunday Charlotte did a really great sermon as part of our series on the book of Ezra. She talked about living with opposition, and what it might look like for us to be life-givers with our words and our actions. Towards the end she talked about “sharing the peace” in a way that got lots of us thinking. Here it is… _____________ I love the way we Anglicans ‘share the peace’ before communion. It’s a great opportunity to say ‘hello’ to that friend who you haven’t seen......

Harvest Connect Two - Now Out

Three times each year we produce a glossy magazine called “Connect 2” which is available to everyone who comes to church, as well as in the Trinity Centre and Café Connect. It is also delivered to 3000+ homes across the parish of Meole Brace and Radbrook Green. It’s been interesting this year to be thinking of the new homes cropping up in various parts of the parish. New streets. New families. New friends. We’re looking forward to dropping off Connect 2 in these new houses, and praying for the......

Discipleship Central - Autumn 2017

God is calling us to become whole-life and whole-hearted disciples. It was Dallas Willard who said discipleship is simply recognising that “Jesus knows how to live your life better than you do.”  We’re committed to that as a parish, and finding ways of supporting people of all ages to walk this journey with Christ together. Discipleship Central is a monthly opportunity to help us do that across the parish. We’ll be meeting once a month on a Thursday evening, beginning at 745pm in the Trinity Centre. We’ll start with......
