Reflections on Study leave - Phil Cansdale

This last month has seen me take four weeks of “study leave”, with the usual opportunities for refreshment, development and leadership learning. Thank you so much to colleagues – and to the church as a whole – for the blessing that this has been. I’ve been able to spend time on retreat, on a “conflict management” course, work shadowing the Dean of Wells Cathedral, and doing a bit of reading on church planting. Please do read the attached if you’d like to find out a little bit more about......

'Thy Kingdom Come' Pentecost Prayer Walk

On Pentecost Sunday a group of us from the 1045am service at Holy Trinity walked out of the church before the service ended – including the vicar! Others joined us along the way from Trinity Churches and other local congregations, including the Bishop of Lichfield, and we prayed at various points along the way, asking for God’s Kingdom to come here in our county, bringing fulfilment, health,......

Trinity Churches Communication Survey 2018

Communication – it’s something we do everyday. Whether catching up with a friend over a drink, gathering round the kitchen table as a family or to people we meet out and about – we talk. As a church we communicate different things and in different ways. Trinity Churches last conducted a Communication Survey in 2010 so we thought it was time for another one! We would love for you to help us by filling this survey out as honestly as you can. All the answers will be anonymous. There......

Summer Term Cards

With all the snow we’ve had in recent weeks it’s hard to believe that summer is on its way! Whether rain or shine we’ll usher in the summer with our new morning and evening service series. The new summer term cards are now available, with details about what we are doing on Sundays across the parish for the next few months. The term card mainly talks about the Sunday services, and opportunities for us to get together in church as we worship, encourage each other, grow faith, and get......
