The new edition of Connect 2 is now here, our glossy magazine which goes out to every home in the parish as well as being available in Café Connect and the Trinity Centre. You’ll find inside a number of things taking place over autumn 2018, including harvest activities, the Alpha course, and a look ahead to Remembrance Sunday on 11th November. We are hugely grateful – as always – for the amazing number of people who get involved in circulating these. It really does make such a difference. Would......

On Sunday, 4th August 1918, four years after the declaration of World War One, King George V and Queen Mary joined members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords for a special service at the Church of Saint Margaret, in Westminster. The King had asked that 4 August 1918 should be observed as a National Day of Prayer – and 100 days later the war ended! On Saturday 4th August 2018 churches around the country, and across the spectrum of denominations, start 100 days of prayer,......

We had the Fletcher family with us at Holy Trinity last Sunday. Elise is the daughter of the previous vicar Kevin Roberts as Trinity Churches. It was a real joy to see them and hear some of their incredible stories about life in the Klong Toey slum, Thailand working alongside Urban Neighbours of Hope (UNOH). As a church we supported the family as one of the Living Stones projects in 2017 helping them to buy a house in the slum and supporting the wider neighbourhood by developing new walkways.......

This last month has seen me take four weeks of “study leave”, with the usual opportunities for refreshment, development and leadership learning. Thank you so much to colleagues – and to the church as a whole – for the blessing that this has been. I’ve been able to spend time on retreat, on a “conflict management” course, work shadowing the Dean of Wells Cathedral, and doing a bit of reading on church planting. Please do read the attached if you’d like to find out a little bit more about......

On Pentecost Sunday a group of us from the 1045am service at Holy Trinity walked out of the church before the service ended – including the vicar! Emblazoned with the logo ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ we spent the rest of the day walking through the estates, busy roads, lanes and fields of Shropshire, headed for Telford. Others joined us along the way from Trinity Churches and other local congregations, including the Bishop of Lichfield, and we prayed at various points along the way, asking for God’s Kingdom to come here in our county, bringing fulfilment, health,......
