Children at Christ the King

Trinity Kids at Christ the King

Our heart is for people of all ages to grow, to know and follow Jesus. All ages begin worship together on a Sunday morning in Radbrook Community Centre. Then children and young people go out to special activities in a separate room in the centre for age-appropriate teaching on the same theme as the adults.

If you have very small children with you then they are very welcome to stay with you in the main church.

Every month there is also an all-age service where people of all ages remain together for a shorter and more interactive service.

First Steps

water playFirst Steps is a toddler group for young children and their carers.

There’s always lots of fun and sessions may include craft activities, playdough, water or sand play and role play. Each session concludes with singing time and light refreshments are provided.

The group is led by our pre-schools worker Carol Booles and her team of volunteers. It meets at 10.15am on a Thursday morning during term times in Radbrook Community Centre.

2014 05 Refresh 5An afternoon of games, crafts, worship and food, this event is for children, young people and their families.

We usually meet on the second Sunday afternoon each month, 4pm till 6pm, Radbrook Community Centre.

There are things for everyone to get involved in, from messy and noisy to quiet and thoughtful – and everything in between. If you don’t get a chance to play together at home, come and challenge each other to table tennis, pool or a dance competition on the Wii. There are also opportunities to explore Bible stories together, a short talk, both followed by Sunday tea together!

Refresh is part of the network of “Messy Churches“, a creative and family-friendly way of being and doing church across the UK and beyond.
